Style Guide | Ridgeview Modern Living Room
Ridgeview Modern is about controlling visual weight and sensory load in a large room—without flattening it.
Start with a low, grounded sectional like the Maxim to anchor the space. Its modular configuration lets you set the room’s geometry first, then build outward. Keep the primary seating tight to the center so circulation stays clear and sightlines to the windows remain uninterrupted.
Balance softness with structure:
– Pair the sectional with Eeroa chairs for rounded contrast and secondary seating that doesn’t compete visually.
– Use one substantial coffee table (reclaimed teak) instead of multiple small surfaces—this reduces visual noise and keeps the room legible.
– Ground the perimeter with vertical weight: a console, tall water pots, and a floor lamp placed just off the fireplace to keep the eye moving around the room instead of pulling everything toward the windows.
Layer accessories intentionally, not decoratively. Bowls, boards, and vessels live where the hand naturally goes—on the console, coffee table, and side tables—so the room feels organized even when in use. This is how you make a large space feel composed, not busy: clear zones, controlled materials, and repetition with restraint.
