Hearth Ridge is stacked with primitive, rugged texture — dry-stack stone floor to ceiling, a reclaimed wood plank ceiling and heavy beams, the rustic grain of the Ebon Coffee Table. Against all that raw material, the Lilja Sideboard drops in a repetitive circular relief pattern, blackened wood, almost architectural. That's the graphic counterpoint the room needed.

Then I softened the switch. The Bella Lounge Chair and a Half sits right beside the sideboard in genuine taupe sheepskin, carrying that same circular shape into something you actually want to sink into — a loveseat-soft moment in the middle of a hard-edged room. Across from it, the cognac leather sectional keeps the lounge going with a wide arm and a chaise end, built for staying a while.

Underfoot, a vintage rug that ran too small for the room got layered with a second rug beneath it — my rule whenever a vintage piece doesn't quite cover the floor: layer, don't replace.
