Hi, I'm Kassina
I'm an interior designer and the owner of Hello Norden. I design homes around the nervous system with my RUTED Method, and these are my pieces. My own walls have always carried my own work, and this is the first of it to leave my house.
How these came to be
Every piece starts with the fewest shapes that can hold a figure: four or five flat forms, a small turned head, and paint worked dry and thick so the surface still reads from across a room. The palette is late fall in the woods. Rust, umber, maroon, olive and the near black of wet bark. Nothing bright, nothing that competes with the room it hangs in.
I made the first ones for my own walls. I made these available as prints so the rooms I design, and the ones I will never see, can have them too.
