Style Guide | Timberstone Ridge Modern Mountain Living Room

Traditional and modern aren't opposites. Put them in the same room and you get tension that reads as collected, not clashing.

That's the whole move in Timberstone Ridge. The Ford Sectional Sofa is sleek, low, modern — but it's got a slight traditional line running through it. Across from it, the Ellsworth Chair swivels on cute, dainty swoop arms, the most traditional shape in the room. Two eras, same conversation. The Ford here isn't the standard version, either — we lengthened it and made a couple of other tweaks for this client, which is exactly the kind of customization you get working with us, whether that's a virtual design session, a full-service project, or a trade order.

The rest of the room keeps that traditional-vs-modern dance going. The Rakel Coffee Table is travertine, soft-edged and organic; the Fenna Console Table has a bit of a brutalist edge, hard and square. Set both against the fieldstone fireplace and the natural wood beams, and nothing fights — the architecture is doing the grounding. An antique door inset above the mantle adds texture without stealing focus from the sectional, which is exactly the point.

The Ford Sectional Sofa and Ellsworth Chair are made-to-order custom furniture — heirloom quality, built in the US in 6-9 weeks, 40+ fabrics plus COM for trade. Trade members and design clients get full customization, sizing included.

In-stock: the Rakel Coffee Table, Neri Side Table, and Fenna Console Table. One-of-one: the Rasmusson Pot and Tora Dough Riser.

Traditional and modern, same room. That's the rule.
