Description

Our Tovea sideboard features four cabinet doors that open to reveal wide interior shelving for dishes, serving pieces or media storage. The solid wood frame sits on straight legs with a low stretcher base that keeps the structure stable while leaving the floor visible. Rounded door panels and small metal knobs keep the front simple and easy to access. Use the long top surface for lighting, artwork or everyday serving while the interior compartments handle bulk storage behind closed doors.

Design Notes: Curating the Vibe

If you're drawn to this piece, there's a reason. It lives in the kind of space that feels grounded and layered. I created a full design guide to show you how I’d style it—and how you can create the look.

Inspiration Image
As featured in our Blackridge Living Room style guide. Discover how uncontrolled contrast—sharp shifts between dark and light, matte and shine—can keep your nervous system on alert even when a room looks beautiful. Blackridge shows how consolidating contrast, softening edge and using tonal harmony creates visual interest without keeping the brain on guard.
Our founder's story

More Than Just Beautiful Things

At Hello Norden, we’re not here to sell trends. We’re here to help you create spaces that feel like you. Spaces that calm your body, support your nervous system, and tell a story you recognize as your own.

Every piece we offer—vintage, made-to-order, or newly crafted—is chosen for how it feels, not just how it looks.

Founder Kassina Folstad spent 22 years designing spaces and studying how environments impact the body. That led to the creation of the RUTED Method—a science-backed, story-rich approach to design that’s changing the way we think about home.
