Our Idunn vintage jar comes from Romania where clay vessels like this were traditionally used to store herbs and liquids. Its wide mouth, rounded shoulders, tapered body and natural clay finish give it a practical shape that works just as well as a decorative piece today. Place it on a console, kitchen shelf or entryway table or use it to display dried branches. Each jar carries its own surface markings and variations in color, size and condition from years of use. Most feature two handles although some may have three or none at all making each piece a little different from the next.
