Originally used in the vineyards and fields of Romania this vintage harvest basket was handwoven into a tapered shape designed for carrying grapes and other produce during harvest. Its open weave, reinforced rim and sturdy construction reflect its practical beginnings. Now it works as a floor basket for storing throws, displaying dried branches or simply sitting in an entryway or living room. Each basket is an authentic vintage piece with variations in shape, color and condition that reflect its years of use.
