Originally used in India for mixing chapati dough this vintage Bjarke stone kundi is carved from sandstone with a shallow round basin and a small pouring spout. Its thick walls and low profile make it just as useful today as a decorative bowl for displaying fruit, holding small objects or housing a few succulents. Each piece carries its own patina with natural variations in color, texture and condition that reflect its history of use.
