Our Arnbjorn vintage jar comes from China's Hunan Province. Where clay vessels like this were used in homes around 100 years ago to store rice and vinegar. Its cylindrical body features a green glazed finish with dark hand-painted markings and Chinese characters across the surface. Originally made for everyday storage it now works as a standalone piece on a console, shelf or entryway table. Each jar carries its own variations in size, color and condition with visible surface wear and markings that reflect its years of use.
