Alvaer Chair

The Alvaer chair brings together textured boucle upholstery and a solid oak frame with curved wood supports that sweep around the seat to form both the structure and armrests. The upholstered seat and back soften the shape while the exposed oak keeps those continuous curves in full view. Its generous seat works well in a reading corner, beside a sofa or as a standalone accent chair where the frame can be seen from every angle. Available in Blue and Cream.
Blue: 88% Polyester, 12% acrylic, multi-tone boucle fabric & oak wood; Cream: 100% polyester, textured striped chenille & oak wood

Our founder's story
More Than Just Beautiful Things
At Hello Norden, we’re not here to sell trends. We’re here to help you create spaces that feel like you. Spaces that calm your body, support your nervous system, and tell a story you recognize as your own.
Every piece we offer—vintage, made-to-order, or newly crafted—is chosen for how it feels, not just how it looks.
Founder Kassina Folstad spent 22 years designing spaces and studying how environments impact the body. That led to the creation of the RUTED Method—a science-backed, story-rich approach to design that’s changing the way we think about home.
