Style Guide | Lorado Valley Living Room

The fireplace and the state flag above it are the spine of this room. Everything else holds tone-on-tone and lets the architecture do the talking.

This is a more formal sitting room. Two Letty side chairs and a Maxim sofa, all in our Saint Croix Holm Sweet Holm leather, so when you do the squint test they almost read as one mass. Individual chairs instead of a sectional give the room real walkways and let two people pull up an ottoman as their own lounge moment.

Texture does the layering, not color. The Ronette coffee table in a darker wood tone, the Alvilda sideboard, two wood side tables, and a vintage rug all live in the same tonal family — variation comes from grain, weave, and pile rather than contrast. One green velvet side chair and a tall planted moment pull the subtle green from the flag across the room, and that's all the color the room needs.

The Maxim sofa and Letty chairs are made to order — our custom furniture line, built in 40+ leather and fabric options, 6-9 weeks. The Ronette coffee table, Alvilda sideboard, and side tables are from our in-stock case goods. The vintage rug is one-of-one.

Formal living room furniture done on a modern mountain doesn't have to mean cold. Tone-on-tone, one strong focal point, and the architecture left alone to do what it's already doing.
