Description

Our vintage Malthie jar comes from Hubei, China where these vessels were traditionally used for everyday storage. Different forms served different purposes—larger jars held rice or eggs handled versions stored oil and ginger jars were often used for salt. Each piece is handmade and shaped through years of use which means size, markings and surface wear vary from jar to jar. Use it as a sculptural vessel on a console, shelf, floor or display it as a standalone object that reflects its original working role.

Our founder's story

More Than Just Beautiful Things

At Hello Norden, we’re not here to sell trends. We’re here to help you create spaces that feel like you. Spaces that calm your body, support your nervous system, and tell a story you recognize as your own.

Every piece we offer—vintage, made-to-order, or newly crafted—is chosen for how it feels, not just how it looks.

Founder Kassina Folstad spent 22 years designing spaces and studying how environments impact the body. That led to the creation of the RUTED Method—a science-backed, story-rich approach to design that’s changing the way we think about home.
