Description

Our vintage Malthe jar is made from red clay sourced in Makou Town, Hubei a region long known for producing practical storage vessels. These jars were used in daily life to hold staple goods—larger forms stored rice or eggs, handled versions stored oil and ginger jars were often used for salt. Each piece is handmade and carries marks from years of use so size, color, surface patterns and condition vary from one jar to another. Use it as a floor vessel, shelf object or sculptural accent that reflects its original working purpose.

Our founder's story

More Than Just Beautiful Things

At Hello Norden, we’re not here to sell trends. We’re here to help you create spaces that feel like you. Spaces that calm your body, support your nervous system, and tell a story you recognize as your own.

Every piece we offer—vintage, made-to-order, or newly crafted—is chosen for how it feels, not just how it looks.

Founder Kassina Folstad spent 22 years designing spaces and studying how environments impact the body. That led to the creation of the RUTED Method—a science-backed, story-rich approach to design that’s changing the way we think about home.
