Wander Norden is a three-season camping experience in the northwoods of Wisconsin beginning with a tiny Camping Cabin and two Tiny A-frames.

This is a primitive experience for connecting with nature and enjoying the beauty of the northwoods. Accommodations include the tiny cabin with a couch that pulls out into a full bed and a loft with a queen bed. One of the Tiny A-frames has a screen door on it with a queen bed inside. The other is open with a heavy duty tarp that closes the front and inside has 2 sleeping platforms/cots. In total, we could accommodate up to 8 guests.

Guests will have access to your own dedicated latrine (think porta-potty). This is glamping, so be prepared with your own bug spray and coolers for food. You can cook over the fire, just the way we like it. The only electric is solar, which powers a couple lights inside the tiny cabin. There are solar-powered lanterns for the tiny a-frames.

What is there to do at Wander Norden?

At Wander Norden, you can connect with nature through walking trails, enjoying bonfires, and unplugging from day-to-day life.

We are less than a mile from a large Wisconsin lake that's great for any sort of fishing or recreation and has public lake access.

What is nearby?

We are within 15 minutes of a quaint, cute downtown Balsam Lake. We are also close to Amery where you can go antiquing, grab ice cream, and a great farm-to-table eatery.

What is the nightly rate?

For a limited time in Fall 2022, we are offering a special for just $220 for access to our 26 acre property.

The two A-frames + tiny cabin are near eachother in a 5 acre area that is a mix of open + wooded areas. For an extra charge, we can accomodate tents and/or campers. Charge amount is dependent on number of people and what would be brought to the site.

Nightly rate is for vacation rentals only. Events and photo/video shoots are quoted separately.
