Description

Built from reclaimed elm, this Eystein monastery-style dining table uses a trestle base and thick plank top to create a solid surface designed for shared meals and large gatherings. The repurposed wood keeps its natural markings knots and variations visible across the tabletop showing the history of the material rather than hiding it. The open trestle base allows chairs to slide in easily while keeping the structure stable. Use it as the main dining table where long seating, serving platters and everyday use all happen in one place.

Our founder's story

More Than Just Beautiful Things

At Hello Norden, we’re not here to sell trends. We’re here to help you create spaces that feel like you. Spaces that calm your body, support your nervous system, and tell a story you recognize as your own.

Every piece we offer—vintage, made-to-order, or newly crafted—is chosen for how it feels, not just how it looks.

Founder Kassina Folstad spent 22 years designing spaces and studying how environments impact the body. That led to the creation of the RUTED Method—a science-backed, story-rich approach to design that’s changing the way we think about home.
