Description

One all natural soap to clean your home, body and clothes? Absolutely. The origins of savon de Marseille go back 700 years and is still based on the simple 5 ingredient all natural vegetable oil recipe that is strong enough for the toughest laundry stains, yet soft enough for sensitive skin.

The all natural category can often leave you longing for something gorgeous. So as designers who love timeless design and tradition, we knew we could do better. So we've taken the Marseille soap and created a beautiful dishwashing set that you'll love to see on your countertop each day.

This bundle comes with our Millie Marble dish, a medium Savon de Marseille soap cube and a Beechwood dish brush.

Choose from olive green (based on olive oil) or white (based on palm oil). The lavender soap is great for body but we might suggest skipping it for washing dishes.

Our medium soap blocks last 3-6 months with typical use.  It's naturally biodegradable and can be used to clean just about anything in your home as well as your face, hair and teeth!

If you'd like a brush with no handle, look for the large soap block set, linked below.

Each dish will have slight variances in the marbling.

The ingredients are listed below, but for those of us not well-versed on the scientific lingo, it's simply vegetable oils, salt, soda and water!

Our founder's story

A shop with purpose

“When something happens to the magnitude of what happened to me, it changes you forever and makes you appreciate life,” Years after her traumatic experience, Kassina was experiencing sensory issues that she would later find out were physical manifestations of her trauma.

“Through research and therapy, I've learned that the way I was approaching design regulated the nervous system. Every human experiences the world through their nervous system, which then tells the brain how to respond. For trauma survivors and those with chronic stress, those signals get garbled and you can experience sensory overload. For years I was applying all these design principles that I didn’t have a name for, but they were ways to design spaces that I could comfortably exist in.”

All of her signature principles — specific light placement and dimming, acoustics, soft-edged furnishings, organic and monochromatic colors, shapes and textural layers — bring a sense of comfort and safety, as much as aesthetic, to regulate the nervous system. She launched her shop on a mission to bring her nervous-system-regulating principles to everyone. Even if someone hasn't experienced trauma they can bring a sense of calm to their home through her design principles and the goods she sells.
