Kjersti Nupe Jar

The African Nupe Jar takes its form from traditional water vessels used by the Nupe people of Nigeria. Made from clay and hand-etched the jar features a rounded body with a tapered opening keeping the silhouette practical and direct. Finished in a natural clay tone it works as a standalone object or grouped with other vessels on shelves, consoles or low tables—an easy way to introduce material history and form without turning the piece into decor for decor’s sake.

Our founder's story
More Than Just Beautiful Things
At Hello Norden, we’re not here to sell trends. We’re here to help you create spaces that feel like you. Spaces that calm your body, support your nervous system, and tell a story you recognize as your own.
Every piece we offer—vintage, made-to-order, or newly crafted—is chosen for how it feels, not just how it looks.
Founder Kassina Folstad spent 22 years designing spaces and studying how environments impact the body. That led to the creation of the RUTED Method—a science-backed, story-rich approach to design that’s changing the way we think about home.
