Hello Norden is hiring a shop + design person to staff the store as well as help with client orders.
The right candidate must be energetic, a self-starter and someone who loves interiors. You will staff the shop Thurs-Sunday. We can be somewhat flexible on hours but right now are planning 12-6 on Thurs/Friday and 10-4 on Saturday and Sunday.
You'll have overlap with the design principal on Thurs and Fri where we'll go over client projects and orders.
Must have experience in retail and placing orders for a design company. Our orders will include custom furniture pieces where you'll facilitate shop drawings and fill out order forms with clients as well as the vendor.
You should be detail-oriented and a task-master who gets excited by checking things off their list. You know those hyper-organized types who either drive you nuts or you love dearly? Yeah, well, we love them dearly.
We want someone passionate about our brand and who understands interiors, fabrics, quality and heirloom pieces so that you are a design asset to our customers and can confidently talk to them about our custom products.
If you have experience with marketing and/or content creation we'd love to know that, too. There will be time when the shop is open where you can be helping us with these tasks. Include any relevant experience when you apply.

This is a contract hourly position and pay is dependent on experience. This position has an opportunity to grow within the company as we take on more furnishing projects now that the shop is open. This can mean more hours and/or more involvement with client projects or marketing/content creation. Our shop is located at 2400 North Second Street, Mpls.
